(Low-Noise Block downconverter) made by StarSat. This is the "brain" of a satellite dish that sits at the end of the arm, facing the bowl.
​Since it is a "Twin" model, it features two output ports, allowing you to run two separate cables to either two different satellite receivers or one dual-tuner PVR (to record one show while watching another).

​Signal Collection: It picks up the high-frequency satellite signals reflected off your dish.
​Frequency Conversion: It converts those high frequencies into a lower range that your satellite box can understand.
